Reader questions, answered
A straightforward guide to BizVaultHQ, our content, and the Weekly Vault.
What does BizVaultHQ cover?
Brands, business models, strategy, and founder decisions. Our focus is the story behind a business: what changed, why it mattered, and which lesson might apply beyond that company.
Who is it for?
Curious readers, builders, creators, and anyone who wants to understand familiar companies more clearly. You do not need specialist business knowledge to get started.
Where should I start?
Browse the reading room for an original perspective, use the glossary to unpack unfamiliar terms, or follow the company analysis guide for a structured approach.
Are these articles news reports?
The current reading room contains original educational perspectives. They explain ideas rather than report breaking news. Company-specific stories should make their factual basis clear, and commentary should be distinguishable from reporting.
How do you approach research?
We aim to check important facts against original documents, preserve context, and identify assumptions. Our editorial standards explain that approach.
Do you use AI?
AI may assist with organizing research, drafting, and visual production. Synthetic imagery is not documentary evidence. The editorial standards explain how we approach these tools.
Is the newsletter really free?
Yes. There is no payment requirement to join the Weekly Vault. The first website edition is available in the Newsletter tab; email delivery is not connected yet. Joining now adds your address to the subscriber list.
What information do I need to provide?
An email address and consent to receive the newsletter. First name and referral source are optional. Signup also records the date and any supported referral campaign tags in the page URL.
Do I have to subscribe to read the site?
No. Close the popup with the X, “No thanks,” Escape, or a click outside it. You can reopen it through the newsletter section whenever you want.
How do I unsubscribe?
New signups receive a subscription management link on the confirmation message. Use it to unsubscribe. Future newsletter emails should include an unsubscribe link. For assistance or a deletion request, use our contact channels.
Can you see my social profile when I subscribe?
No. The form does not automatically collect your social profile, follower list, or private engagement history. It saves the information you choose to submit and the referral details described in our privacy notice.
Can I suggest a story, correction, or collaboration?
Yes. Our contact page explains how to reach us and what details to include.
